I'm not an expert in Mexican cuisine, But my Aussie-Egyptian twist is what I bring to the scene. Using 🤍murrayvalleypork, the dish was divine, And guacamole was the perfect side to dine. I'm on a mission to explore pork belly from around the world, Join me on this pork belly ride, And let's explore the world's cuisines with pride. What Country is Next? Recipe - CRISPY PORK BELLY CHICHARRÓN Ingredients: 2 kg Murray Valley Pork belly, skin-on 1 Tbsp kosher salt 1 Tbsp black pepper 1 Tbsp onion powder 1 Tbsp garlic powder 1 Tbsp chilli powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder Pecan smoking wood for smoking Vegetable oil for frying Instructions: 1. Dry the skin of the pork belly in the fridge for 4 days to ensure it's dry and crispy. 2. In a small bowl, mix together seasonings to make the BBQ rub. 3. Season the meat side of the pork belly generously with the BBQ rub, making sure to get into all the crevices and slits. 4. Preheat a Smoker OR Oven to 250°F (120°C), adding the pecan smoking wood. 5. Smoke the pork belly for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). 6. Remove the pork belly from the smoker and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. 7. Heat a large heavy-based pot with vegetable oil to a temperature of 240°C. 8. Cut through the skin of the pork belly along the slits made earlier on the meat side. 9. Cut the pork belly into slices about 1 inch thick and double fry the slices in the hot oil, frying for about 2-3 minutes each time or until crispy. 10. Remove the pork belly slices from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain off excess oil. Serve the crispy chicharron hot with fresh guacamole on the side. En una Olla vamos a añadir 1 cucharadita de sal y una cucharadita de baking soda o bicarbonato, añadimos los chicharrones y dejamos hervir por unos 30 minutos, retiramos la espuma blanca de va desprendiendo y luego de los 20 minutos hirviendo los retiramos de la candela y los pasamos a una servilleta y dejamos secar y enfriar por unos 10 0 15 minutos, luego de este tiempo en un caldero o wok añadimos cantidad suficiente de manteca de cerdo y antes de que esté totalmente caliente vamos añadiendo los trozos de chicharrones, nos mantenemos removiendolos cada 2 o 3 minutos para evitar que se peguen y cuando ya veas un color dorado y el cuero reventado o inflado es el momento de sacarlos del fuego y listo, este proceso debe demorar unos 20 minutos. Deliciosos chicharrones de cerdo en casa, al estilo Latinoamericano, con un truco muy bueno para que no salten y no te quemes mientras los fríes. Los Chicharrones se freirán en su propia manteca, con lo que no hay que añadir aceite ni nada para freírlos. Para sazonarlos simplemente les añadimos un poco de sal y unos dientes de ajo pelados. También añadimos un poquito de bicarbonato de sodio, para que los chicharrones nos queden bien crocantes. Un saludo especial a todos los que nos siguen desde Puerto Rico, pues se me olvidó mencionarlos en el vídeo PD: Las tomas falsas estan grabadas antes de poner un poquito de harina a los chicharrones, por eso saltan tanto. En el momento que le puse harina, dejaron de saltar Ahhhh y no se os puede olvidar la Hidratación!!! #chicharronesdepuerco Chicharrones de Puerco, receta paso a paso muy facil y crujientes. Ingredientes: 5 libras de panza de Puerco 3 litro de agua 1 cuchara de oregano 1 cuchara de sal 5 cucharas de jugo de limón Procedimiento: Corta tu panza de Puerco en cuadritos o trosos largos ( trozos largos tardan mas de cocinarse), luego pon a coser el Puerco con los ingredients y deja que el agua se consuma. Una vez consumida el agua bajale la llama y tapa la olla para que el aceite empiece a salir del Puerco ( puedes añadir un poco de aceite si gustas asi aceleras el proceso), una vez que el aceite salga a flote deja freir todo hasta que este bien tostadito y crujiente.
