We sailed on the MSC Seaside for seven nights in June 2023. The ship’s Marketplace Buffet was located on Deck 8 Aft, at the back of the ship. During our cruise, the restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and late-night snack. The Biscayne Bay Restaurant and Buffet was a second, smaller buffet located on Deck 16 midship, toward the back of the ship. We sailed on the MSC Seaside for seven nights in June 2023. There were two complimentary Main Dining Rooms on the ship and both of them served the same menu for dinner. The Seashore Restaurant was located on Deck 5 Aft, at the back of the ship. This video covers the food offering s of the MSC Seashore during the summer of 2023, and focuses solely on the complementary dining options: The main dining room, the buffet, and the special lunch venue. Our conclusion is that the experience is uneven. One venue gets rave reviews, another was OK, but a bit of a disappointment. And the the third get high marks with a couple of big exceptions. So in the last final part of this series, I share some footage (mostly pictures) of the food on the Divina. There is a lot of debate online whether MSC food is good. We took a video of every dish we ate which was predominantly the Yacht Club area. We sailed her sister ship MSC Seashore last month and the month prior - the menu in YC was the same from what I could recall. Every palate is different so it's important to note that I am not picky at all and pretty much eat everything while my wife is very picky - if she says something is good, it is GOOD. I am curious if MSC is trying to make some dishes more salty than they should be - there were a few that were overly salty and wondering if they are trying hard to meet American palate? Ocean Cay specialty dining, my wife was really looking forward to the pasta dish as we had that a month ago. It was completely different this time around as we were pretty much chewing salt. Makes me think it was a mistake- wife thinks they might've just oversalted the pasta (she's done that before too). Overall, we enjoyed the food, there were lots that we loved and only a very few we didn't like. Almost none that we both didn't like. YC chef is Indian and the butter chicken was personally my favorite dish. Hats off to the MSC team ESPECIALLY the dining staff that made this such a wonderful experience.

MSC Cruises Dining. Buffet Tour. MSC is a growing budget cruise line. The ships are relatively new, glitzy, with the single most attractive point: low fares. Although not always the cheapest, MSC cruises offers very low fares in the Caribbean. You want to save on your cruise vacation, do you? The cruise line also wants to save. The way they make profit is building huge ships, fitting as many passenges as possible in the smaller cabins, and supplying basic food. So we definitely don't cruise on MSC to eat. The food is mainly mish-mash of carbs, easy made, with no distinctive flavor. And.... crowds. If you accept this game - go for it. Just set your expectations accordingly. Remember that cruising is a pleasure.

Hey, Grand Travelers! In May 2023, my husband, his brother and wife, and I sailed on #mscmeraviglia. While onboard, we ate at the included venues of Panorama Restaurant, one of four main dining rooms, and Marketplace Buffet, as well as three specialty, not-included restaurants: Hola! Tacos and Cantina, Kaito Teppanyaki, and Butcher's Cut. In this video, we share our experience with you in each of those venues, as well as give some information about other food and venues like Jean Philippe Gelato Bar, the Snack Shack at North Beach on #oceancay, Sky Lounge, and more. I truly enjoyed most everything I ate on this ship. The food was overall great, and most of the service was impeccable. We got an idea of what food on MSC cruises are like when we were on the MSC Divina in December 2017. We had mixed feelings on these dinner entrees we ordered in the main dining room (MDR). Many were tasty, but all were a bit sloppy in presentation as you can see. Some dishes were perplexing (Tortilla Wrap that was supposed to be a "Fried Vegetable Wrap" and Tofu Pad Thai that tasted nothing like it), and some were just unpleasant (New England Clam Chowder, Key Lime Pie, Duck a l'Orange). There were some dishes that stood out as quite good- these included: * Chicken Parmigiana * Fregola Sarda (Sardinian-style Pasta with Clams & Cherry Tomatoes) * Grilled New York Cut Sirloin Steak in Green Peppercorn Cognac Sauce * Wild Berry Studded French Vanilla Cream in Caramel Sauce * Seafood Fritto Misto * Spagetti alla Carbonara * Baked Alaska * Red Wine & Shiitake Braised Beef Short Ribs Unfortunately there was no "free" lobster, even on formal night. You could order surf and turf, but that would cost $23.95 for a 5 oz filet mignon & lobster tail. There was also a dearth of shrimp in general- we didn't even see one shrimp cocktail the entire cruise at the main dining room. On the fourth day of my cruise through the Middle East, I found myself locked on the ship, because the entire day was to be spend on sea. This gave me an awesome idea. Why not spend the entire food?
