A chance to see how the JBM diaphragm SW 60 held up after a long term test in Chinese 150 scooter. This experiment worked so well that the whole thing was continued, as the JBM diaphragm works better than the Chinese replacement part. available from 🤍jbmindustries.com Also show the speed restrictor that was found inserted in the carburetor socket manifold. Might be worth checking on other scooters. This one was a 2008. Note: I was surprised to find the speed restrictor on a box stock scooter. I removed it from mine and found an increase in top speed. Some owners have said they think that the turbulence will increase speed. This would be news to those that have carefully polished the inside of their manifolds and ports for years to gain performance. I also think that if this restrictor increased performance or fuel economy, all cars, motorcycles, ATVs, and snow machines would come from the factory with one of these. Anyone that sits in a bathtub notices the water drains more slowly when the vortex starts. Some viewers may have trouble with logic, and will never never use any of it. If you want to keep the restrictor in, you should do so. This video was only to point out that this 2008 scooter had one to my surprise. I will no longer make any scooter related videos, so no more comments are needed.

This stuff made my GY6 scooter faster! After installing the 80cc Big bore kit on our 50cc gy6 scooter, we were a little un impressed. It seemed like there was something missing. So we added a better exhaust system and that helped a little bit. It was SUPER loud. Trying to adult, we decided to add muffler packing. A very NON PERFORMANCE adding material... or so we thought. adding the material made the scooter way faster and way better on takeoff and overall acceleration. We needed the back pressure! Or do you want to bore your engine cases and go with a larger cylinder kit like a 205cc or even a 232cc. What is the difference between forged pistons and cast pistons? Ill teach you the difference between 4032 forged pistons and 2618 pistons. I will guide you through the importance of choosing a big bore kit. Things people never talk about. Like should you purchase a drop in big bore kit for your gy6, do I need a ceramic coating and how to spot fake forged pistons. This video will not apply to gy6 50cc engines. This is for the GY6 A and B engines. both 54mm and 57mm stud spacing. also know as the QMJ157 gy6 or the QMI152 GY6.

Remove Starter Motor on Baotian Sprint Moped Scooter (2009). Symptoms were erratic function. Worked sometimes, but sometime nothing happens when you press the starter button. Yes, brakes and standing support were up. This is DC motor with carbon brush. I measure them in the video and clean the housing and clean the commutator. This is 4-stroke GY6 engine, long case 139QMA, chinese made. See also my other Scooter videos!

final part to this dead Chinese gy6 scooter / moped / motorcycle. its been almost a year since i dug this free piece of bike junk out of a garden and rebuilt the engine / motor cylinder head in a " will it run " series. since then it has got its MOT road permit and endured a strip down, re-wire with a custom electrical wiring loom, endured my welding and fabrication attempts and been remodeled and painted. it has been a long journey ( far too long ) but im totally in love with this odd ball creation. its a head turner and it gets attention wherever it turns up. today being no exception, a guy in the fuel station offered to buy it as i filled the tank up, now this one id put to bed, it is time for a new restoration / rescue project. hopefully something two stroke as opposed to the usual four stroke motor i'm used to. thank you all for your support so far. regards Richard check out my isle of wight visit to the international scooter rally and marvel at some of the classic vespa and lambretta vintage machines
