It is no secret that weight is a huge factor in any type of performance-based sport. Motorsports and drag racing in particular are no exception. When dropping weight from your race car, it is always best to start with the low hanging fruit in terms of cost to benefit. This type of weight loss usually includes lightening the body, chassis, removing components, etc. Once the obvious items are addressed, dropping weight becomes a bit more of a challenge. Elle venait à la maison, lavait mes habits...pour moi, c'est ma copine. On se retrouve dans une situation où on doit passer à l'acte, on est en tenue d'Adam et elle me dit ‘je ne peux pas coucher avec un handicapé’. C'est con et c'est violent. Le seul instrument de l'acte sexuel qu'on doit juger c'est la virilité. Elle constate que tu es virile mais elle te dit 'je ne peux pas coucher avec un handicapé' », a confié Marin Camus Mimb. Cette phrase aurait perturbé le journaliste qui a pris sa revanche une fois devenue célèbre. C’est surement ces humiliations de sa jeunesse qui expliquent son désir de s’afficher avec des femmes dans des situations plus que suspectes. C'est cette carapace qui m'a aidé à subir avec moins de violence un certain nombre de choses. C'est pour cela que j'ai été président de la coopérative au lycée, j'ai été président du club journal parce que tout le monde était d'accord qu'il n'y a que lui qui peut faire ça », se rappelle-t-il. D’autres victimes de Mimb saisissent l’occasion et racontent les abus et tentatives d’abus sexuels dont elles ont été victimes. Les jours passent, les preuves contre Mimb s’entassent. Le 20 juin 2021, Wilfrid Eteki, chef traditionnel et ami de camus sort du silence et avoue être l’homme dans la vidéo. Les Camerounais sont choqués. Martin Camus Mimb a menti. Il connaissait bien l’homme dans la vidéo. D’autres sources révèlent qu’ils font tous partie d’un groupe de pervers où ils s’échangent les nudités de leurs conquêtes. Les personnalités publiques qui ont soutenu le journaliste au début de l’affaire, lui retire leur soutien un à un. Tous demandent à Camus Mimb de présenter des excuses publiques à la véritable victime, une certaine Malicka. La maison d’édition qui a édité le livre du journaliste sort un communiqué le 21 juin 2021 annonçant la cessation de la promotion et la commercialisation de l’œuvre. Des avocats et défenseurs des droits de l’homme se sont constitués en collectif et annoncent des poursuites judiciaires contre le journaliste.
